This technique is a great follow-up to the Stack 'n Whack rage that went around a few years ago. Many of us made the Stack 'n Whack Quilts for awhile, then wondered what else one could do with these types of blocks. Wonder no more, because Maxine Rosenthal has been able to utilize the technique to create quilts that definitely look to be more than the sum of their parts. The quilts are artsy looking, dynamic and best of all, no two are ever exactly alike. The sewing is straightforward, but the end results are terrific! One of those "why didn't I think of that" kind of ideas - you'll love it! |
